Sorting The Search Results

To give you more powerful search options, in Search Results panel, Gaviri PocketSearch® lets you sort search results. Select Search -> Sorting Options from the Main Menu or click "Sort" button at the top right corner of the Search Results panel and choose the necessary sorting option form the following:

• Sort By Relevance (default)

This option lets you soft by relevancy factor. Relevancy is determined by keyword occurrence frequency weighted by document length. I.e., the total number of words in each document is divided by the total number of search terms in the document. The document with the highest score gets listed before the document with the lower score.

• Sort By Date

Use this option to sort the results by date of modification. I.e., recently edited or new files will be listed at the top.

• Sort By Size

Similarly, to sort the results by documents size, please, select this option. The files with the largest size are listed at the top.

• Restrict to Emails with Attachment

By selecting this sorting option, you will see only emails with attachments.

• Priority

This group of options lets you limit emails by priority option.
