Using Trial Version

When you start Gaviri PocketSearch® for the first time you will see "Trial Version Reminder" window. In case you haven't bought a license yet, to be able to use the trial version of Gaviri PocketSearch® you have to obtain free trial license key. Clicking the corresponding button will take you to Gaviri Web site. You will have to type your name and email address which will be used to send you the trial version key. Once you have received license key, you may import it into Gaviri PocketSearch®. Click "Enter Key" button and the then "Import .lc file". Navigate to license key which have been mailed to you and click "OK" button. This will finalize registration process and launch the application.

Using Licensed Version

If you have purchased a license, you may register Gaviri PocketSearch® by clicking "Enter Key" button. Now, you may copy the license key into "Software Activation" panel or import the file you have received from us by using "Import .lc file" option (recommended).

Running PocketSearch®

Once Gaviri PocketSearch® is started for the first time you will be asked to specify files and folders which should be indexed, select email client database (MS Outlook, Outlook Express, Portable Thunderbird) location to be able to search through local emails, select file extension that should not be indexed and set various options. After all the necessary options are selected, click "OK" button. Gaviri PocketSearch® will automatically start indexing the device. Indexing process runs on the background and tracks all changes in the system. Initially, it requires some time to complete the first indexing. The first indexing time greatly depends on the number of files on the device, processor speed, and, in fact, the file types that are being indexed.

You may start searching straightaway before the first indexing is completed (however, in this case, the search results may be not complete). To conduct a search, please, type the keyword in Search Toolbar. Gaviri PocketSearch® will search as you type. All result found will be displayed in Search Results panel (if any document is matched your keyword).
